Did you know the Vikings drank mead? Mead is made by fermenting honey just as wine is made by fermenting grapes. Often referred to as honey wine It's considered the drink of royalty and was drunk at times of celebrations in the Viking culture. A traditional mead consists of just three ingredients, honey, water and yeast, and it is the oldest alcoholic drink known to man. Have you tried our traditional Viking mead?

Back of the bottle:

This is our version of a traditional Viking mead made with 100% Texas wildflower honey. Rich in floral taste without being overly sweet this mead is simple yet complex. Its unique profile allows this mead to drink like a wine with a meal or by itself  in the mead hall! Skol!

Pairs well with: White Meats, Fish and Sharp Cheese

Service: 45F-55F

Great mead. I've bought each variation now. All of them are very good. This is the only place to get your mead.

Fate of the Gods

I found the floral notes to much for my taste. It smelled and tasted to much like perfume.

Purchased as a gift

I purchased this as a gift for my brother but saving for Yule. But have had it before and really enjoyed it which is why I ordered in advance along a bottle of All father for Samhain.

Not for me

It doesn't just have floral notes, the flavor is overbearing. It tastes like the honey was fermented with flowers. Notes are one thing, but it tastes like how perfume smells. The All Father mead is okay, so I have been drinking it instead. I think I will have to toss out the Fate of the Gods.
